Nicholas is regularly briefed to advise and appear in matters primarily concerning the operation of banking, commercial, corporate, insolvency and securities law. He appears in State and Federal Courts across Australia.
Aside from his predominately civil practice, Nicholas is co-author of the Annotated Personal Property Securities Act and lectures part time in Commercial Law and Finance Law at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Nicholas was Associate to the Honourable Justice W M C Gummow AC and the Honourable Justice S J Gageler at the High Court of Australia, Tipstaff to the Honourable Justice R I Barrett at the Supreme Court of New South Wales and Law Clerk at Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King and Wood Mallesons).
Nicholas graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours and University Medal) and a Bachelor of Business (Major in Finance). His CV is available upon request.
